Lindenhurst has been ranked as one of the best Illinois cities to raise a family, according to WalletHub. WalletHub recently released their list of the 2018 best places to raise a family after comparing more than 222 Illinois communities. The study focused on 21 factors including playgrounds per capita, local attractions, median family income, affordable housing and crime rates. The cities were then ranked in 4 categories; family life and fun, education and safety, affordability, and socio-economics. Lindenhurst was ranked number 10 on the list overall, receiving its highest ratings for soci-economics and education & safety.
