Prairie Elementary School Named A Blue Ribbon School

Prairie Elementary School was recently named a Nation Blue Ribbon School. This widely recognized designation is awarded to exemplary high performing schools, the top 15% in English and Mathematics as measured by state assessments. Only 25 schools in Illinois and 342 schools nationwide received this prestigious award in 2017. Prairie now joins 4 other district 96 schools that have previously received this honor. It is a symbol of academic excellence and affirms the hard work of students, educators, families and community.
